According to ISO 22000, procedures are institutionalized that follow undeviatingly the European and the Greek Legislation and annual checks are realized by the competent bodies for their accurate application.
In 2015 the company proceeded in acquiring the certification ISO 22000:2005 – The System Certification of Security Management of Food, mainly due to the expansion of its activities in the construction of products related to food (construction of paper food containers). The continuous demand of the customers and the produced items led the company to the ISO 22000 certification in order to officially secure that the production practices that it applies follow all the safety rules for food.
Through the management system of food safety all the raw materials that are used in products for food are watched, tactical checks are reformed in external chemical laboratories with regard to the safety of the products and particular internal hygiene rules are implemented in the work areas by the staff. The external checks are performed by the responsible licensed bodies, thus securing the integrity of the overall process in proper building facilities and mechanical equipment.
